Stoopid me & my heater!

My oscillating heater died on me! Argh... Gave out this foul burning plastic smell when i turned it on this morning. Then I read the warranty card and interpreted it as having to bring it down to Altona North for repairs or exchange since I got the heater from Safeway Supermarket... So, yeah since Tues are the days to top up petrol since fuel prices are at the lowest, I dropped by Good Guys to get another ceramic heater which is only $25 and beats having to drive all the way down the Altona to get the old one fixed. Also, a ceramic heater is more energy conserving and warmer.

So home I went and started taking out my new heater... And read the warranty again and realised the place for repairs and service is exactly the same as the old one though they are of different brands. So i read the message again and guess what! I think I can just head back to Safeway with the warranty, receipt and faulty product to Safeway instead of heading all the way to Altona! So i spent extra money on a new heater for nothing! Argh! I am so gonna just treat the new heater as a long term investment since it uses less electricity. But my old one got oscillating feature... Nvm... i shall be less 'blur' next time... (hopefully)
