Falls Creek
The day Tiff and I arrived back in Melbourne from our holidays back in Singapore... We had to catch the 1am bus up to Falls Creek for our ski trip! Yipee! Haven't skiied since my trip up to Korea when I was 15! However, this time, I will try snowboarding cos skiing is a tad boring for me.
Treacherous 7 hours bus ride... but we made it! Immediately after dropping our bags, we went to hire our ski gear. Then up the chairlift we went for our beginner lessons! Forgot to take a picture of the lil' kids learning skiing... They are like 3-5years old and being so adorable is already such a plus... They can ski so much better than us! So embarassing! Perhaps it is easier for them to learn cos' they do not know what is danger.. and perhaps they have the baby fats to cushion them from the falls that it doesn't hurt to fall time and time again during the learning process.
Imagine if it is Singaporeans... I don't think parents are cool enough to send their lil' babies for ski lessons, because they think it is too dangerous a sport. Also, the children will most probably cry everytime they fall cos' they are too pampered and parents will go cajole them each time they fall.
Anyways, here's Liting and I on the chairlift up to the top of the ski routes!
Beautiful scenery! Couldn't take much pics, I may slip off the chairlift any moment struggling to hold my snowboard and camera with my ski gloves on!
You remember those grass-cutters in Singapore with their face masks! I found two of them sneaking around! Is there any grass to cut? Even so, it is covered in snow!

I wonder how Liting fell! Her poles are always at least 2 metres away fr her. And in this one! One of her ski got stuck in snow! I guess her pathetic expression tells u everything. Haa! Oops, I shouldn't be laughing at her cos I fell so many times too to avoid crashing into people or going way beyond the ski-course!
