Happy Birthday DingDong Ting!

Due to a TMC-gathering BBQ that dear Ms Cheelin so painfully singlehandedly planned at Pasir Ris Park on Sat evening... Gave Cafe Del Mar a miss with my ding dong partner. But it is okay... I gave her time to Darren cos she is so freaking happy that he is back from Melb for holidays. Hmm... do I sound as if I am like relieving my pangs of guilt for not gg to CDM? Pics of the bbq will only be posted after I get it off Ms Cheelin.

Rowe stayed over aft the bbq as we wanted to borrow winter stuff for her Korea trip where she is representing Singapore Youth Council in some Asean thingy! We watched Devil Wears Prada but towards the end of the movie we both we so tired we retired to bed past 5 in the morning. Unknowingly, we slept till past 1pm (a very gd slp that I hadn't have for many nights which Rowe attributed to her presence) and finished up the movie after a good lunch.
Sun evening, wanted to head over to Dempsey road but apparently only I knew how to drive there... Hey I was in Melb too... Doesnt mean you guys spent too much time in Melb that you forgot how to look up Singapore Street Directory which is so much smaller and easier to use than Melway! Poots! So headed to Robertson Quay for BrusselSprouts but Jevon complained it was too bright and we finally settled on Mohammad Sultan's En Lounge which I was kinda underdressed for I was in shorts but who cares.

Ting was treated to a Flaming Lamborgini:

Eyes glued on soccer:With the Bday gurl:

Ting with 'wawaweewa' Jason:A convoy of 5 cars left for some hokkien mee at along Changi Road but it was closed. Wanted some 'zhi cha' but not much was left. So headed over to Al-Ameen where upon our grand "al-fresco" seating, the shop started blasting hip-hop r&b music! Haa 1st time ever! Had my Beehoon Goreng Basar, my fave Al-Ameen Cheese Mushroom Prata and the usual Teh Halia! Ting was still high when we left the place. I was just very sober. Even saw sparks flying when this car in front of me on CTE scraped his car rims along the kerbs. Fenglan and I overtook the vehicle and stole glances at the driver. An uncle who is in his 40s maybe who looked drunk and blur. Drunk on a Sunday night when Mon is a working day?? Maybe he was just superbly tired. Got home and could not get to sleep... for the Teh Halia kept me wide awake! How?! No more teh halia during supper... But me only go mamak stores for supper. =(

Its playing Jason Mraz's Life is Beautiful on radio now... Instant flashback of times where Ting & I are seated at the back of Jevon's previous Nissan with the sun roof open, Michael singing indulgently while Jevon nicely cruised us along the streets of Melbourne and the clear skies, cool breezes. MELBOURNE!!!!!
