new dress + new hp
Since mummy was heading to town today... tagged along since I needed to pick up the new collection to my vintage wears! But before that, we had lunch at Toa Payoh and she picked up a cute little native african drinking bowl for me which is so cute! I shall use it for my accessories! Mummy got me a new hp for me birthday. Mine's black cos mummy has the white. Hmm seems like us mother and daughter always happen to have similar phones. 1st the Nokia8250, Samsung silver clamshells, Samsung black slide phones and currently, Nokia6288. Now... what I really need is a new camera for a cam-whore like me. My Konica-Minolta is dying on me ever since I dropped it at Acid Bar. Or perhaps what I really need is a job for the salary would make it possible for a new camera. Oh well... soon soon... Oh and puleeze do try out the 'Yi Kou Wei' or 'Yi Wei Kou' teochew popiah situated at the Basement 2 of Centrepoint's new extension. The shop is right opposite Soup Restaurant. I always appreciate good popiah-wrapping skills and it doesn't even fall apart when u bite off half of each piece. Enjoy peeps! Labels: shoppingAnd for the 1st time, wore my ebay-bought bubble pinafore dress accessorised with my grandma tan leather bag from K-Mart.
Sigh... now I have gotta get use to using Nokia again cos prior to this was using a Samsung and the well-received pink Motorola V3X. And while people are continuously signing up and extending their hp contracts for the latest phone models, I, on the other hand, has not been on contract ever since May 2006. Woohoo... That is like about a year and a half? Somehow I have never gone for gadgety phones that would cost me a bomb. Just something reasonably-priced and easy to use. Cos all I really need is msging, calling and a tad of camera functions. Oh and the occasional calculator and alarm. *winks*
