tai-tai in the making

According to Rowena, I've been a tai-tai in the making, or rather both of us. But she would be starting work on the coming Monday. All the daily high-tea and shopping sessions one after another.

But I have been busy with interviews too, which had me training walking in heels. Imagine the soreness I had after walking over to Suntec from Raffles Quay after an interview just to take corporate look passport size photo for another interview the next day. And they requested but did not even bother asking on the day of the interview itself. Waste of my money for taking pictures that I turned out looking old and fugly. rrrhhhh...

Oh well, but I had a good day view of the gigantic metal-glass 'durian' and the almost completed ferris wheel with the upcoming preparations for this years NDP! Weather was not too sweltering hot for the walk anyways.

Busy day of driving around, parallel parking and tearing of coupons on Thursday. Had lunch with Charmaine in between my scheduled interviews. She introduced me very good teh-tarik! Felt like I haven't seen her in a long time though I did see her at zouk for Ramirez but well, it wasn't very good and we couldn't get much of catching up with the blasting music. After interviews, went down to Town to pick Rowe up as we originally wanted to go for Night Safari but it was a rainy day and Nick wanted a drink. So down we went to Circular Road. Just a chilling session but I am dead beat from lack of sleep. Look at my extra-lengthened horse-face. But loving that plain grey wool mod dress!

And I finally have SCV installed. Whoopee! CSI CSI CSI! Doc. 90210! MTV! And this is what Rowe & I had on while watching tv, my favourite peel-off mask, before going to bed for our beauty sleep!

Awoken by several phone calls this morning. The days of being a tai-tai will soon be over.
